"what i found under tree" (2023) reimagined themes of queer archive. The private corner
facilitates an invitation to glance through someone's private computer and find diary entries from an
unspecified individual about the trees and the sea. Specific contextual clues, from tree types in past
neighborhoods to online collective representation of the Caspian sea carry themselves throughout the
chapters of the pseudo-native experience. The experience doesn't reward the person with the secrets of
the diary but instead expects an exchange of input, be it text, drawing or sound, in order to open up
and share.
